Spark Arts
aims to spark arts development for arts organisations, artists and those responsible for the arts and cultural agenda, particularly in the early stages of their organisational, artistic or policy development by working with them in all areas of arts management within their business.

Spark Arts gives clients the chance to engage with arts management professionals who can support their business with an independent, creative and deliverable vision whilst being grounded in understanding both grassroots delivery and strategic thinking.


Charlotte Brennan, Director
Charlotte Brennan has 18 years professional experience working in the arts within many sectors such as community, education voluntary, local authority, arts funding and arts organisation. During this time she has honed specific professional qualities that she brings to all her work:-

  • strong leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a team to develop, implement and sustain long term strategies across all sectors of an arts business, department or partnership
  • excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • shrewd ability to spot partnership and funding opportunities in their infancy that will help deliver and enhance arts initiatives, capital development targets and long term business strategies
  • committed, passionate with a strong sense of professionalism and high standards of working practice
Other Roles Charlotte is a trustee of Dancefest, the dance development agency for Worcestershire and Herefordshire, and is leading the Board's Fundraising Sub-Committee. She has also been a trustee of Audience's Central, Hereward and C&T.

In January 2008 Charlotte attended the Clore Leadership Short Course, a two week residency providing intensive personal development, an examination of the nature of good leadership and an introduction to key areas of expert knowledge essential to effective cultural leadership.
