The Elmley Foundation
During 2009-10 Spark Arts engaged in supporting non-arts and arts organisations with project definition and fundraising. Another strand of work involved developing, and fundraising for strategic arts projects conceived through countywide partnership work as demand and opportunity arose. The success of the post was fully evaluated and led to the creation of the new contract. As a direct result of the first contract £238,742.31 of new arts money was brought into the two counties. International Dance Festival Birmingham
Charlotte Brennan, Spark Arts was appointed at the Education Coordinator for the International Dance Festival Birmingham (IDFB 2010). The focus of the 4 month contract was to develop a strategic education plan, target and engage participating groups, and coordinator the education offer for IDFB 2010.

The Artrix, Bromsgrove
The Artrix contracted Spark Arts to develop and implement a fundraising plan focusing on two significant audience development projects and kick starting a longer term fundraising campaign for capital equipment. As a result of the success of this work the venue is now able to implement their strategic vision for the development of their education and outreach work.

Worcestershire County Council
In February 2009 Worcestershire County Council commissioned Spark Arts to complete an audit of permanent gallery spaces in the county.
The 4 key tasks of the audit were to achieve:-

  1. A comprehensive contact database of all galleries in the county (Excel)
  2. An initial contact database of visual arts groups/clubs/societies in the county
  3. A listings gallery guide in Word format
  4. Report detailing findings and making recommendations for the sector’s development
